Long Scraggy each year has two volunteer work weekends. These work weekends allow are users and supporters to come and serve while also enjoying the camp. Workers are provided a lunch and can stay the night before or after free of charge.
Long Scraggy also tries to hold a run/walk fundraiser each spring to help raise funds especially for improving the buildings and grounds. This fundraiser has helped put new roofs on a couple of buildings and other minor improvements.

Currently Long Scraggy Camp can sleep approx. 125 people in cabins. All of the cabins except one have bunk beds. Five of the cabins have their own bathroom, while the rest share a common bathhouse. Our Roundhouse has a fullsize commercial kitchen. We have just about everything you need to feed you family or group.
On the grounds we have a basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and a backstop for baseball/kickball. We encourage all of our groups to bring their own equipment or to call in advance to see if we have enough equipment on hand to serve you.
